Electrochemical Oxygen Sensors for Every Gas Detection Application: Sensorix O2 30 Family

Sensorix has launched the Sensorix O2 gas sensors family. There are three electrochemical oxygen sensors optimized for different OEM requirements. Whether you need broad device compatibility, mobile battery runtime, or maximum sensitivity: Sensorix O2 gas sensor series delivers the right electrochemical sensor solution for every use case.

What’s new (quick overview)

  • Three electrochemical lead-free O2 sensor variants: Uni, Port, Fix
  • Sensorix O2 30 Uni: Flexible integration across devices
  • Sensorix O2 30 Port: Reduced power consumption enabling longer battery life for mobile gas detectors
  • Sensorix O2 30 Fix: Maximum sensitivity for fixed gas detection systems & low-level measurement

Why Three O2 Gas Sensors? Introducing the Sensorix O2 30 Family

One-size-fits-all O2 sensor technology can not cover all gas detections tasks. Sensorix addresses a clear OEM challenge: you need electrochemical oxygen sensors that integrate seamlessly into different device architectures, reduce power costs, and maintain stable readings.

Sensorix O2 30 Uni: Universal O2 Gas Sensor with Broad Device Compatibility

The Sensorix O2 30 Uni is the all-purpose electrochemical oxygen sensor solution for OEM gas instruments. Designed for flexibility across multiple device platforms.

Sensorix O2 30 Port: Optimized O2 Gas Sensor for Portable Gas Detectors

The Sensorix O2 30 Port is purpose-built for portable gas measurement devices. The focus is on minimized power consumption that is critical for battery-operated O2 gas detectors in the field and for extended runtime without recharging.

Sensorix O2 30 Fix: High-Sensitivity O2 Gas Sensor for Fixed Gas Detection Systems

The Sensorix O2 30 Fix operates with higher power consumption than the Sensorix O2 30 Port, however, this is perfectly acceptable in fixed applications where continuous accuracy takes priority over battery efficiency. The result is very high measurement accuracy with minimal baseline noise.

As a bonus, the Sensorix O2 30 Fix also performs reliably in specialized helium atmospheres, though recalibration is required when deploying in helium-based systems.
